Random Thoughts #1: On Changing rooms

Disclaimer:
This post will mention homosexuality, and part of my opinion on it, if you don't like it, dont read it...

This is not about discrimination, however, being homosexual is, IMO, a lifestyle choice, one that i do not agree with, but it is out there. We can talk about it in another post...

So today at work, my mind wandered off, like usual...
Then i 'discovered' a huge oversight in changing room design in most public venues, such as swimming pools and the like...

Homosexual individuals are allowed in the same gender changing rooms!

In my mind, it is like allowing a heteralsexual individual going into the changing room of the opposite gender...

If myself, a straight man, is not allowed into the ladies changing room, I do not think a homosexual man should be allowed into the men's changing room...

So do the homosexual person go into the changing room of the opposite gender?
No... that'll open up too many oppotunities for abuse... Just imagin all the straight men claiming to be homosexual just so they can go into the ladies changing room...

Another way i thought of is private changing rooms for everyone... but this is so impractical! Imagin the cost...

Anyone have a good way to solve this problem? (not that i actually expect anyone to read this)

STP #1: 伍思凱 分享

I guess, one of the reason why I had this blog in mind... was that I wanted to undertake a project... I'm just gonna call it the "Song Translation Project", STP for short.
What I wanted to do is that I want to translate the lyrics of Chinese (especially Mandarin) songs that I like into English, just as a goal to share it with more people. I dont know if there are such projects that other people are undertaking...
I'm not saying i'm any good at translating these kind of stuff, but I'll try
I will attempt to stay true to the message that the songs try to deliever, while trying to keep it in the same rhythem as the song so it can be sung, however, since i'm not trained musically or anything... most likely they cannot be sung well using translated lyrics... oh well, enjoy it, I enjoyed translating it!

It's Just the beginning...

Yes... I have decided to start a blog... why?
I guess i want it to be a place where i can keep a journal type thing (unless it's a private issue, then i wont put it here)...
Secondly, I want to post some music that I like, and lyrics, and possible translating of lyrics...
Thirdly, sometimes one just needs to vent? hahaha

Anyhow, i dont think anyone would actively find my blog anyways... so all this is for myself!
